Each dog is approached as an individual: their breed, temperament, and instincts all matter. Training isn’t about control for the sake of control, it’s about giving dogs an outlet for what’s natural to them while guiding those instincts in the right direction. Through movement, play, and structured learning, we build clarity, trust, and lasting change helping dogs feel understood and owners feel confident in the process.

Private Lessons offer a fully personalized, one-on-one coaching designed to strengthen both your dog’s skills and your relationship together. You’ll meet once a week at our facility for 1.5–2 hours, with structured practice and clear homework between sessions to ensure progress continues at home.
Each program begins with an understanding of your dog’s breed, temperament, and individual needs. We use exercise, play, and enrichment to establish focus and engagement before layering in structured obedience. You’ll learn how to communicate effectively, build confidence, and create a relationship that extends far beyond basic commands.
This program is the most hands-on option, requiring full participation from the owner. Each week’s progress builds on the last, leading to lasting changes in behavior, communication, and overall connection.

This program offers a focused, structured learning experience where your dog trains directly with Adam throughout the week. Dogs stay with us Monday through Friday and return home on weekends once they’ve reached a certain point in their training, typically around the third week. This allows owners to start practicing at home while maintaining consistency and progress.
Each dog receives a tailored plan based on breed, temperament, and goals. Training combines structured exercise, play, enrichment, obedience, and clear communication to create steady, balanced progress. The Fridays that include a go-home session will review that week’s training and prepare for the weekend ahead.
This program provides professional guidance while keeping owners actively involved. We believe that success is a team effort: it takes both the trainer’s structure and the owner’s follow through to make training truly stick.
To ensure the success & safety of our training programs, we work with dogs that are 6 months or older & are physically & mentally able to participate in training activities, including walks & basic obedience exercises. If your dog is under 6 months old, we'd still love to help - please reach out to staygoodtraining@gmail.com to learn more about our puppy training programs.
